Scottsdale Muffler and Automotive, a family owned and operated business with 20 years of experience, helped with the restoration of a gorgeous classic 1966 Chevy Corvette which sold for a mere $160,000 at the auction, an event which presented the unique opportunity to see, let alone purchase, such an american classic. Only 27,700 1966 Corvettes were produced making it a rare and unique find.
A beautiful, vintage black Corvette Coupe classically restored by SEMA Award winning builder, Nick Ellis, who has been working on everything from Model A’s to Flathead Ford engines since he was a teenager. His most recent masterpiece looked like it came right off a 1960’s showroom floor. The interior featured exquisite german carpeting with elegant Daytona style leather seats, dash, doors and headliner. One can imagine climbing into the front seat and being instantly transported back in time to a day when waitresses wore roller skates and drive in movies still littered the landscape.
